Support That Understands

Hi, I’m Phalguni — the Founder of Antara.

I’m a Counselling Psychologist and the founder of Antara – Mental Health & Wellbeing Centre, a space built with the belief that mental health care should feel safe, human, and genuinely accessible.

Over the years, through my academic journey, clinical experiences, and conversations with people from different walks of life, I’ve realised that seeking help is not always easy. Sometimes, we don’t need someone to “fix” us—we simply need a space where we can pause, be heard, understand ourselves better, and learn to navigate life with greater awareness.

That is the kind of space I wanted to create through Antara.

The name Antara represents the space within us—the emotions, thoughts, experiences, and parts of ourselves that often remain unexplored. At Antara, we aim to help you reconnect with that inner space through compassionate, personalised, and evidence-informed psychological support.

For me, Antara is more than just a centre. It is a reflection of how I believe mental health care should be—empathetic, non-judgmental, collaborative, and centred around you.

Whether you are going through a difficult phase, feeling stuck, trying to understand yourself better, or simply looking to grow, Antara is a space where you can take that first step at your own pace.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you seek support. You just have to begin.
